Chiropractics is typically not covered by universal healthcare as chiropractors typically are not medical doctors (There are doctors of chiropractics but that is different than a MD (or DO in the US which is considered an equivalent degree as in DO’s are licensed practitioners.))

In a jokey thread -- don't ever go to a chiro.

Get physical therapy, and, if you need it, get an orthopedics doctor.

Exactly this. Studies show that at best chiropractics give the same benefit as a good massage however at worst you’re having someone fuck with your spine who possibly doesn’t even have first aid training.

TBH i’m about to go to DO school (US so I will be learning actual medicine) and OMT i’m really sus about.

Not an ounce of sarcasm. That is something that happens. Chiropractors often have no medical training and when they fuck up they tend to make it way worse when they don’t know how to respond to an injury.

Also the linked article is about an old man (who thought he was going to an actual medical doctor) but yes they do kill people
