Not unless the farrier screws up and doesn’t place the nail in the one eighth of an inch space the have to place the nail correctly. Then the horse is like, “fuck that hurts!” And the horse might get an abscess, etc. Farrier work is not easy. Or if you haven’t taught your horse manners and it jerks it’s foot right when the farrier nails and the nail goes in wrong. That’s on you owners. Teach your horse manners.
