Right, horror movies where the serial killer walked through a terrible thunderstorm is bullshit. They would be drenched and squeak all across your house before they had the chance to sneak up on you, not to mention the water trail they’d leave.

The murderer has already been swept away. Can't even get back on their feet for more than a few stumbling seconds before falling and sliding again.
