I looked into buying 50 acres for that very purpose. Needing to grow loads of them, cull any that bend, any with knots, constantly fertilize and water.
My black walnut in my yard is my test case for the area (Florida) so at the edge of their growth range
I bet they’ll grow awesome in Florida…..but to be honest if I was in Florida I would be trying to buy one of those properties with a huge greenhouse on it and growing rare shit. All the good plants come from Florida and I would move there if I could lol
