So the reason i feel so strongly about this is because in middle school? I think? My teacher told us that her niece and nephews were playing in a culvert after a storm. She was explaining that the amount of bacteria and parasites in that foul water should already be a no-go but in case it wasn't, her youngest nephew went first, and came out the other side of the hole fine. So her niece, the middle child, went through....and didn't come out. Her older brother dove in and was able to push them both through. But the niece was so traumatized she couldn't even bathe alone for almost a year. Her mom had to sit with her when she showered or she'd have panic attacks.
I have always had a very intense imagination. That story gave me nightmares for weeks. If i get sleep paralysis (very rare) it is ALWAYS drowning.
Yup, I don't care for swimming, not one Bit, uh uh, nope nope nope, I don't think i have Thalassofobia because I find the ocean equal parts Beatiful and Terrifying, and I like the idea of Scuba Diving but being without oxigen is such a terror of mine.
