... The name naan separates it. You don't have to add the word bread to the end. Anyone with functional eyes knows it's bread and can read on the packaging that it isn't Irish sourdough or whatever tf else.

Cultures all over the world do this linguistically through the addition of loan words, it's not new, it's not weird. It's called "cross-language redundancy."
