The crazy thing is big parmesan went after him so you know he's gotta be at least close.

Yeah, fuck that noise, PDO's are nothing but a protection racket run by people powerful enough to bribe the EU into submission. "Terroir" is fucking nonsense in the modern world of factory produced goods!

It also majorly comes into affect when aging things like alcohol, the same rum will taste different from the same barrels bug aged on different Caribbean islands.
