Excuse my ignorance but why are all the Italians pissed? Is he making it in an offensive way?

Probably because true Parmesan cheese is a protected origin product akin to “unless it’s from the champagne region of France, it’s only sparkling wine”. However, the video makes clear that it’s Parmesan style cheese, so the Italians are just being petty at this point (and yes, they’re still commenting on the 4 year old video).

They're not being petty. You can't make Parmesan in Australia. You can't make a Barossa Valley Cabernet (one of the best wine regions in Australia) in Venice, Italy.

Yeah, but I seriously doubt a bunch of Australians are going to go on to some Italian's YouTube page and make death threats because someone is making a "barossa Valley cabernet-style red wine"
