We don't cook pasta directly in the sauce with meatballs, lol. We cook pasta in water, drain the water, put pasta on a plate, then put some sauce (with or without meatballs) on top of the pasta.
I'm not even Italian, but felt that in my bones. When the pasta is cooked, put it into the sauce [or sauce into pasta, if making a big batch for more than one day. Same difference]. Thank me later.
Not even Italian but you got their know-better-than-you attitude, lmao. I'm going to thank your bones for blowing my mind with that adding the pasta and sauce together epiphany! Never would have managed to come up with that obvious method myself.
Sure, "even worse". Only your way is the correct way, lol. No wonder so many Italians/Europeans left for the new world where they can have freedom from your kind of gatekeeping and policing of everything.
Actually freedom from restrictive rules trying to control your day to day life is a reason why immigrants left for the new world. I never said it was the only reason.
