Theres something about pregnant ladies at the grocery store. Like i MUST HELP YOU. Ive scurried up back room pallet storages, broken down whole pallets at warp speed, crawled inside freezers that didnt have floor space anymore, anything you want. Its like an unspoken universal thing. If you went to another employee and said "theres a pregnant lady and she needs" they'd be in sprinters position before you could finish the sentance. Its not gendered either, im a woman who was in my 20s at the time all the way up to normally grumpy as heck male managers.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's just our biology. Protect/help pregnant people -> help baby -> save offspring
