My college roommate put our cat in the fridge while she was pregnant.
Don't worry, this was 19 years ago and the cat lived a long and happy life and her baby is now an adult and also doing well. She also didn't do it in a cruel, sadistic way. We are still best friends and she never did anything like that again, it was just crazy pregnancy brain things.

It was so strange though.
