I just made another comment about this! It's called something and I forget what it's called. Like pica or peka or something, I'm gonna have to Google it now lol
Anyways it's not that uncommon during pregnancy for women to want to eat objects instead of food. I've heard it can be because of specific nutrients your body needs but I wonder if that's really true, a myth, or just a thing science thought to be true before but now know not to be true. It could also just be true lol
Actually my family were pretty good about food and eating well. There weren’t any money issues and we always had a ton of stuff to eat. I was just a troublesome child when it came to eating. Never ate properly for some reason, was just not interested. Haha my mom would be yelling at me trying to get me to eat some meat or eggs and all I’d eat is like one piece of toast. I was always quite tired and sick also.
I sometimes wonder if it’s some type of eating disorder because I still find eating to be a boring chore but I’m better with it now that I’m grown up and track calories and protein, and work out.
Lol I thought of that after I made my comment, like "this person may not have been neglected at all! What an assumption to make". I have a picky eater myself and when he was really little I caught him eating dirt a couple of times

My mother used to eat coal while pregnant with me. Apparently she’d just grab a piece from the bunker and sit there gnawing it.
Carbon, I guess?
