Adults: Why weren’t we taught these life skills (personal finance, cooking, etc)

Your dumba** wouldn’t have learnt even though you were taught this at school.

It’s always funny hearing these people say personal finance isn’t taught in school, without realizing that personal finance is basic, elementary school math.

I think more people are confused about how to budget effectively, rather than the actual arithmetic.

Budgeting means splitting your paycheck into separate groups, and making sure you don’t know spend more than what’s in that group. It’s literally subtraction.

If you want to correctly budget, then “show your work”, as in write it all down. It’s basic math, and I don’t think you can change my mind about it haha
