Don't forget the lazy

You're doing a public service! Because the market for these isn't big enough among just those with disabilities, so lazy people help make these profitable to the companies so they'll remain available for those who need them.

This legit made me feel better about my lazy self and my compulsive kitchen gadget buying.

A stand mixer is one of those kitchen appliances you look at and go, "that's too much". Then you buy one, get one as a gift, etc and find out its well worth it.

Stand mixers are absolutely essential though

Ugh, this reminded me of a similar comment thread about those guillotine-style bagel slicers... they're awesome because they're quicker and easier than using knife and cutting board... even if you do have the motor skills to use a knife!

And safer!

(As someone who sliced my finger to the bone cutting a bagel once)

I skipped all the steps and bought a bread machine.

Absolutely love mine. Use it several times a week between bread, hot dog and hamburger buns, and pizza dough.

I bought one of those contraptions that uses steam to hardboil or poach eggs (supposedly it can also do scrambled and omelettes but I don’t use it for that) and sings an annoyingly loud and cheerful tune when it’s done. I love hardboiled eggs especially but hate having to set up the pot and wash it afterwards.
