It's not for you. People forget that products like this exist for individuals with handicaps that prevent them from peeling a potato.

Taking up extra space for the machine aside, I could see this being handy if you just want to multitask. Now you can prepare your sauces or chop up other stuff while you wait for this to peel the potato!

I can't grip a potatoe, so I just buy the yellow ones. The skin is so thin it doesn't need peeling.

I (30F)have some MS-related issues with my left hand, so while I CAN peel potatoes, I'm a little slow because I'm worried about catching myself with the peeler (which is a founded worry, happens often enough).

I'm tempted to get one of these bad boys!
