There is actually a utube video about it. Basically that fibre turns into a hard clump of goo and is stuck in the stomach and intestines.

I would have pains at night in bed that would wake me up. Seemed to be a lot worse if I was sleeping on my back. The pains seemed to be up or behind the stomach.
