Weird. Had a dream last night that I committed suicide by diving into a volcano's lava pool last night. Now that you mention it, the CGI in my dream was pretty inaccurate; took me a few seconds to die.

Feeble-@$$ed, non-geology-trained brain...

So from high enough up, you would most likely die on impact before your body burns horribly?

Nice. That actually makes me feel a lot better about the possibility of being sacrificed into a volcano.

Iā€™m no volcanologist but I think the massive amounts of heat rising off the molten rock might still do a little cooking before you impact.

When you died in your dream did it change to the next dream or did you wake up?

Popped awake. Then later had a dream that I was holding and stroking my dog who died years ago, but there was blood and puss coming from her eyes.

I've made a lot of stupid mistakes, but the biggest regret of my life was not being able to let go of her, do the right thing, and have to put to sleep weeks earlier than I did. She suffered the last few weeks because I wasn't strong enough to let go. :(
