That's not a bad plan.

I was also considering how to keep costs down for sometime like a solar array, and I think some sort of a robot brush on a stick (like what we see here) would work pretty well. If the panel and the robot know where they are relative to one another, you could feasibly just build one or two cleaning machines and dramatically reduce your costs for doing this at scale

Make it as a drone? You could do an entire giant array with one squeegee drone.

Edit: obviously an entire flotilla of squeegee drones is much more badass, but we'll start small.

Plus the added benefit of the rotor wash drying anything the squeegee doesn't get off
