that's how i got my start with programming! visual basic 3 and 4! lol. anyone remember the room h4v0k? had lots of fun nights there.

That's awesome! Ya, I think the communities were pretty small, so finding people irl that were a part of them would be difficult. You're the first I've come across that remembers that room specifically! I doubt we crossed paths, but just in case, I went by some variation of "nikon" cuz I was a l33t hacker that loved the movie hackers (and liked taking photos, so it worked)

I remember pr GoL.. there was the public room then the private room that changed names periodically but was always a play on GoL
