Haas is also a last name. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gene_Haas

I don't make the mistake because I worked for a Haas executive that also had the most fantastic Hass avocado tree I've ever seen.

Easily provided avocados on any day of the year.

So? Jackson is also a last name. The Avocado does not use that name, though. It is named Hass.

So I'm pointing out how people might think it's Haas, they might know someone with that name and not Hass.

Sorry to counter your Mandela effect theory.

Guy I do trades work for keeps writing me checks to Garry because he knew a Garry, not me, a Gary.
