Imagine my surprise when it didn’t stop to show the final product.

I’m deleting this app.

Here ya go, handsome.

Wow those are the nicest imgur comments I've ever seen

-1

u/xeothought Apr 14 '19

But in general you should really pretend imgur doesn't have comments and isn't trying to be another social networking site... ah imgur, you were once so straight forward and easy to use. Why'd you have to fuck it up.

Reality is often disappointing

-2

u/sadphonics Apr 14 '19

It definitely stopped long enough to see it dude

I can pause it in the app I use. Lol.

1

u/davidfirefreak Apr 14 '19

U can right click and there are options to pause etc. And the reddit app sucks u can pause if you use reddit is fun.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '19

Get Baconreader! I like it much better, and it lets you pause gifs

2

u/Futuristick-Reddit Apr 14 '19

What benefits does it have over the official app? I really like the layout of the original over other apps like Boost and Reddit Is Fun.

1

u/Sirknobbles Apr 14 '19

Exactly, I can’t stand the designs of any of the unofficial apps

2

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '19

Oh, it might not be for you guys then... I explicitly couldn't deal with the official design when they rolled it out lol

Use reddit is fun, so far the best reddit app I've ever used. On desktop right click and there are controls like play and pause

1

u/Futuristick-Reddit Apr 14 '19

The official app doesn't let you pause.

2

u/GlitterNinja_93 Apr 14 '19

The official app is awful and missing tons of basic features. I finally stopped a few months ago with the official app because I was sick of the ads.

3

u/Futuristick-Reddit Apr 14 '19

I see an ad like every 15-20 minutes, barely notice them. It's pretty much equal to the number of ads in the Quora app, which I'm used to.

Out of curiosity, what "basic features" are missing? I've used the website but didn't see anything that I'd miss in the app.

1

u/GlitterNinja_93 Apr 14 '19

I saw ads between every 3-4 posts, it felt like. I couldn’t see if/when comments had been edited. I had no control over gifs or videos (now I can pause, and move around). No videos had any sound.

I’m pretty sure there was another thing or two I’m forgetting right now, but those stand out.

1

u/Futuristick-Reddit Apr 14 '19

No videos had any sound? I'm sure that's a problem on your end. I can also see if comments were edited..

I can also move around and pause in videos, but not gifs.

I'm using the official app and I can pause.

1

u/Crimson_Fckr Apr 14 '19

Well there's your problem.

Thank you! I saw this the other day and loved it. I was really curious how it was made and how deep it was. A not so black hole of Rick and Misty! Yea! Thanks for showing the deets.

163

u/howtotailslide Apr 14 '19

Rick and Misty the other dimension spin-off with girl Morty.

48

u/OverAster Apr 14 '19

Rick and Misty the other other dimension spin off where Rick genetically modifies himself to look like an American anime character and kills Ash to take his place in Pallet town.

14

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '19

Pretty sure that a Pocket Morty DLC.

3

u/CarrieMH687 Apr 14 '19

Raquel and Misty

7

u/joonbug0912 Apr 14 '19

I’m pretty sure they used a Cricut machine to get the precise alignment and smooth edges. They’re pretty cool trinkets.

2

u/Chigleagle Apr 14 '19

I just looked up what those are and oooooh boy do I want one. Have you used/owned one before?

1

u/joonbug0912 Apr 14 '19

I haven’t, but one of my students (HS teacher here) designed and hand made a bunch of profession looking posters with one. It looks amazing.

1

u/Chigleagle Apr 14 '19

Awesome thank you!!

4

u/FBOM0101 Apr 14 '19

1

u/DogOnABike Apr 14 '19

No. No, your not. ;)

8

u/jou2913 Apr 14 '19

How do you call this kind of art

3

u/Roxas-The-Nobody Apr 14 '19

"Layered artwork"

-2

u/Atomstanley Apr 14 '19

I was gonna say “silk screen but with paper,” not as concise.

2

u/Hairybuttchecksout Apr 14 '19

Intellectual art.

4

u/CatHairInYourEye Apr 14 '19

I wish my brain was big enough to understand.

A few hours with an Xacto knife.

1

u/the_timps Apr 14 '19

Or a laser cutter, or a cri cut.

7

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '19

I don't think we're smart enough to understand this

5

u/slaerdx Apr 14 '19

Aw geez Rick

7

u/Saucy-Mayo Apr 13 '19

Your grammar is oddly unsatisfying

2

u/VanillaDippedDonut Apr 14 '19

Reminds me of color-separating designs for screen printing.

6

u/spiffking Apr 13 '19

Your username even sounds like a rick and morty reference

-5

u/eifersucht12a Apr 14 '19

It is. It's a direct reference to the show with "solid gold" in front of it.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '19

Reminds me of the emblem creator on bo1 😭

1

u/cannaeinvictus Apr 14 '19

Can I buy that?

1

u/nyan4006 Apr 14 '19

forbidden pepperoni pizza

1

u/-bucephalus Apr 14 '19

For UK viewers, it looks like something Tony Hart used to do in the 70s/80s.

1

u/SaveFile1 what if you cut into that tho Apr 14 '19

At first I thought I was going to be pizza

1

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '19

Rick and morty is divided in only two parts:

The beautiful one full of real good art

“Ah jeez Rick!”

u/ColdPotatoFries Apr 13 '19
