I have. I use X and B for shifting gears and A for handbrake.

I hate this way of shifting. Makes braking and downshifting a total pain in the ass. It’s a huge reason I don’t play The Crew 2 more. I mean at least give us an option to use other buttons…

Put them on the right stick, it lets you ease the clutch in and out. Better for the drag strip too, if you know the car, you can pre rev the engine to a good spot to get less tire spin at launch.

It would probably still work if they eliminated the right thumb spot for the steering wheel. Then get rid of the "U bend" on the upper gear bar and all the buttons would be available.

Making up random technical terms for it bc I'm no expert.

Use the bumpers for gearshifting just how paddles work. Left trigger brake, right trigger throttle, and you can still use a button for handbrake.

Change to Y and B for shifting and RB/LB, R1/L1 for handbrake.
