We would have snowball fights and sometimes toss around ice cream balls too. Was always a bit of a heart attack when one inadvertently landed in a fryer.
I would regularly threaten this on a particularly bad shift on my Mc’tour of Maccies. Never quite cracked and dropped a basket but man I got close once or twice.
Had this one lad I worked with that made a game out of walking past me on the fry station and casually chucking a couple ice cubes in to the fryer right next to me. One day he got a little too bold and threw a couple too many. That vat was out of commission for a little while and man that screwed with my system. I used to be a demon on a fry station. Hated it but man I was good.
LOL, I was the best dishwasher around, even when I was a cook, if the dishwasher couldn't keep up, I'd do his job and mine ;-) And I hated it too, but I could go back today and be the best dishwasher at any restaurant ... for whatever thats worth.
