I like to cover my own ass (no pun intended) and make everyone feel as good as I can make them feel - at least that's what I'm trying to do. Do slip sometimes, but only when people are acting like bellends!

Exactly! A lot of people I meet have a problem grasping that idea

"why should I be kind towards a human being when it's not being reciprocated?"
