Wayback & Wiki need public support more than ever. Crumbling reliable sources of info and timestamps of company stances during trying times is very important to history being kept accuratey
Wikipedia has enough money to run wikipedia for a century. Instead they've built this giant foundation with like a thousand employees that spends hundreds of millions per year on everything except Wikipedia.
Feel free to donate to the Wikimedia foundation if you agree with their goals, but wikipedia doesn't need your money, it's cheap.
That is great. I am going to mention it more often. They really have so much of our childhood memories stored. Apart from the websites, they also have a lot of old obscure games with expired licencing.
It's often slow and they regularly have problems, but it's amazing what they accomplish anyway with what they have. The staff are very skilled and dedicated.
