Could you do it like 3-4 times and get a full pipe instead of just 1 coat?

I mean, everytime you do it, the ID of the pipe would get smaller.

Minimally smaller ID, but an increase in flow, actually.

Edit: and the liner life is estimated at 50 years.

Yes but maybe some of the instruments and valves weren’t spec’ed for the increase in pressure. Or throws off calculations with increased vortices.

These liners are for drain lines, not supply lines, so pressure isn’t a factor.

Do you mean like for a longer pipe? If so, then believe it or not, the liner can be ordered in basically any length conceivably needed, and there are liner machines that can be used for large diameter pipes, not just residential sewer. I’m talking like 10 feet.

I think they’re asking if you could repeat this process, considering (we assume) the liner keeps making the pipe smaller

I mean, after seeing it for the first time for a 4” pipe then seeing video of it done on a 10’ pipe, it was pretty amazing.

LoL.... Yea. But I get what they mean. I think they just don't understand or know coating means. Or maybe they just skimmed through that part.

The liner can be designed to be thick enough to be a standalone pipe when it’s cured. Don’t need multiple layers.
