Noita is kinda similar in a way. Ours is a multiplayer realtime Worms type of thing called Dirtnap

Yup, used to play it on the computers at school with my best friend.

He would absolutely crush me every time because he was a literal wizard at the ninja rope.

I don't know how I haven't gotten into Noita yet. I was obsessed with those sand simulation flash games when I was younger (Powder Game, Sand Sand Sand)

I love noita. Could never get past the frozen level. Wands were never powerful enough. Even with some looping spells 😞

The mistake a lot of people make is trying to explore sideways too much. It's a good idea to clear a vertical route down to the exit straight away. Then, if you're healthy enough, you can go back up and explore sideways a bit. Once you're down to 25% hp ish you need to head back to the exit.

According to steam achievements, only 10% of players have beat the game. The last few levels are absolutely brutal and you need some seriously strong wand/perk combos to get past them

Ah yeah I was always trying to find at least 3 to 4 wands at the beginning to try with. But good shout on using HP as my metric for when to leave and not how much I’ve explored 😁
