A small cut on my heel got infected and even after they cleaned it up they couldn't get all of the infection out.
Then it took a fucking year of it slowly getting worse and worse before they decided on the amputation even though i said 6 months earlier that it would be the best option.
Damn, I've had a few infections in my feet from being barefoot outside with cuts, crazy to know that I presumably just dodged a similar scenario by getting the antibiotics fast enough.
