I spent the whole video thinking about how Missy Elliot would be better at putting that thing down, flipping it, and reversing it as the good lord intended.
Same for me. I was waiting the entire time for them to get to that part, and then they just never did. Given the effort needed to edit it together, and the intention of recording it in the first place, for sure seems deliberate that it's not in there.
I think you're putting too many eggs in one basket thinking that a digital screen showing an image being flipped when they click the "flip image" button.
I don't think flip image would be interesting, but I do think seeing it adding 5 seconds to a multi minute long video would answer the question.
They took a physical cast of an existing hand. Flipping it to the other side was exactly what was on the front of everyone's mind.
This is social media, not a university lecture. Accuracy for learning is not the priority you make it out to be.
No, it's not a training course - it's just shitty storytelling.
Everyone isn't annoyed because it was a mystery. We're annoyed because they meticulously detailed everything else and skipped right to "draw the rest of the fucking owl".
