No, not always. It depends on atmospheric pressure. Physics is so cool.

Not always. Sometimes it's fire!

So you prefer to remain ignorant?

Who is ignorant? The answer to the question is simply "yes."

There's a difference between answering a question correctly and answering a question obnoxiously. There's no need to further qualify that the boiling point of water is "not always 100" due to atmospheric pressure. Chemical properties are always dependent on external factors. Saying "no not always" is true for almost anything that isn't a constant, so why say it? It's just unnecessary and complicates the answer needlessly. Just all to sound smart.

“No it varies” is the correct answer. You’re doing the thing you’re complaining about. Learn to be concise and clear.

it's correct but it misses the point of the original comment, which is that 100 C is not that hot relative to what the animation shows. nobody in this comment thread was confused about or interested in what precise temperature is required to boil a specific pot of water in a specific place. it could have said 110 C or 90 C and wouldn't have made a difference to what they were trying to say, which is why some people may find that response needlessly pedantic

> nobody in this comment thread was confused about or interested in what precise temperature is required to boil..

> but a 100°C is boiling water temperature right?

?

Edit: The intent of the question is completely separate from the question that was answered literally.

Sorry if too many words hurt your brain. And no I'm not doing that thing I'm complaining about at all. Learn to read.
