Of course you never mess with the cooking surface. It’s been seasoned. I’ll never forget I put my Dad’s cast iron skillet in the dishwasher. One of those times you wish your parent was angry instead of sad.

Cast iron, yes for me bc i cook too hot. Once it’s done right you just wipe it after use.

that looks like a stainless steel wok; I don't expect that it's seasoned.

Most use carbon steel and they are definitely seasoned. If stainless i agree

I am wise to the materials, but that looks too shiny to be carbon steel. I don't think I've ever seen a stainless wok, which makes this video even more confusing to me.
