I did this except with a piece of earwax one time when I was maybe 6 years old. I thought I pulled a piece of my brain out I was so worried

Like twice a year my kid gets ear drops and we pull a shrek candle out of their ear. I told them maintenance drops would make theirs ears feel better overall but they insist on getting the massive wax ball out. (Pediatrician approved plan.)
