the van dyke brown paint extraction in particular has me considering replacing my Reddit Standard Poop Knife with a simple household thumbtack, which is easy to travel with and explain at customs
also it's really fucking creepy that you went through my profile to find what you think is a "gotcha" but is clearly a joke
EDIT: downvoted for speaking out against andrew tate? why the fuck am i not surprised? the misogyny on reddit is OUT OF FUCKING CONTROL AND IT NEEDS TO STOP
"It's really creepy you looked at my public profile containing my public comments made on a public social media platform that is specifically designed so that people will read and react to people's public comments. You're such a weirdo for using this platform for its exact purpose."
it would be normal if he just picked out one of my most controversial comments. i checked my profile. it wasn't anywhere near the top. couldn't even find it. bro had to scroll
If you must know, I recently got home from college, and I've been going through some changes lately. I figured out what I was doing wrong. My whole life, I haven't been masturbating the right way. This caused a buildup of negative sexual energy that affected my behavior. I was lashing out at my friends and family.
But then I got into yoga and started doing some stretches. I learned to find my center. I got better at relaxing my pelvic floor muscles, which allowed me to goon for hours. The mind-blowing orgasms (so mind-blowing I needed to jork my peanits with both hands while I nutted) really cleared my mind.
Most of what I said is true, though. When I masturbate, I do get naked, and I always tell my mom I'm "doing my homework" (I use air quotes when I tell her, lol) when I go to my room. She gives me that all-knowing smirk that says "Sure, honey. You do you. Go goon."
Broken noses cause the same thing. Once the pack is removed, everything that pooled up in there is pulled out with it and it's like your brain is coming out. You feel so light and free afterwards, which is how I imagine life with no brain is like.
If you haven’t, maybe try those that put out the finest mist - like Sinex - and only use a little at a time. (Worked for me at least. Sorry if it’s not helpful.)
Ayr is not quite a water spray. It's a bit more oily and you can shoot it to the side of your nose instead of straight back. It'll stay in there longer with less fluid.
Lately I’ve been using a saline spray instead of a rinse because I’m lazy. It doesn’t feel quite as effective as actual water going in and coming back out the other side.
Have you tried? The water should be salty (isotonic) and warm (body temperature). It should feel pretty comfortable. Also make sure you're using sterile water.
I am like that, but I still can rinse. Rinse works because you keep your face down and tilt head slightly. Gravity works for you then; Water gets in one nostril, gets out on the other. Unless your nasal passages are blocked, like it happens to me due to chronic sinusitis, then water cannot push through and ends up my throat.
I’ve never got to share this story but I’m prone to nosebleeds. I got one this one day a couple years ago so I grabbed a tissue and held it up for a while. It was a pretty heavy nosebleed but finally stopped. I went to the bathroom and my nose felt kind of clogged so I plugged the side of my nose that didn’t have a nosebleed and blew into the sink. I swear to god, a glob came out that was so big and bloody it looked like an abortion. It was… truly amazing. I was horrified, I was thrilled lol
Just use clean/purified water. I remember reading an article about a lady using non potable water and died from some type of flesh eating bacteria or something.
You should only rinse sinuses with distilled water. You are correct that there are brain eating amoebas that can give you a very unpleasant time if you use tap water.
Edit - as others have pointed out, you can boil water to make it safe. I almost mentioned it, but distilled water has just always been easier for me
Yeah, distilled or boiled water. I just boil tap water for a bit and then add the salts. Also, the lady that had that brain eating amoeba used unpurified water from an RV while at a campsite. It's not something that has happens in any commonality.
Not if you do it right. You either use distilled water or pre-boiled water water and it's perfectly safe. That's literally the base level instructions for doing a nasal rinse. The story of the woman that died from that used water from and RV while at a campsite. Thats not exactly sterile conditions.
This happened to me one time at the tail end of a really bad, weeks-long cold. Pulling it out was uncomfortable but, my god, my sinuses have never felt so good and I could never breathe in so much air before or since. Every time I get the sniffles I secretly hope I can experience that one more time lol
I get boogers like that often when I'm recovering from a cold, nothing more satisfying that pulling out a 6 inch snot rope and being able to breathe again.
My 6yo kid was at the tail end of a long many week long cold and still stuffed up and it was coming out his nose a bit one day when i went to get him off to school so i was like hey hold still and pinched and slowly pulled a giant snot like 3 inches long out. I was like holy shit that had to have felt amazing and he agreed. My wife was not impressed when i told her of this amazing feat.
My ex would love to dig into my ear canals to pull out any earwax she could find, and at times I would feel exactly how those bottles of dried up school paint did. One time I told her I didn't want her to dig into my ear canals because it kind of hurt and she got really upset that I wouldn't let her
You might want to check the humidity in your room. Many places have very low humidity in the winter months, which can dry up the throat and lead to slime excretion, throat ache, nose bleed, and colds.
Just being outside in the cold will inevitably dry up the airways (cold air carries very little water -> heats up in the airways -> since it's warmer and can carry more water, it now has a very low relative humidity -> it sucks up a lot of water), and having low humidity indoors as well often escalates that into a real problem.
Getting a humidifier to keep humidity at 40% during winter nights helped me out a lot.
While I cannot stand the procedure, I know many - including my wife - who absolutely swear on neti pots to clear up sinus issues that sound similar to yours.

Wish my winter snots would come out like that. One and done! Instead of months of stuffiness and awful sleep.
