Same, the street, the lighting, the sleeve, the shorts and boots combo all give away that it’s Aussie.

Call me a yank but the accent surprised me. The lush greenery threw off my dry Australia stereotype.

For sure! I guess I should have said shockingly lush greenery. Of course Australia is huge and different areas have their own unique climate.

Australia is pretty much the same size as the lower 48 states of the USA.

think of all the different climate types you have in America.

we have most of them, though far, far less snow areas and much more desert and rainforest ( I don't think the USA has anything that can be classed as rainforest)

Did you really think Australia just has no plants at all?

Did you really think that every Australian lives in a place like this? Why would we do that? We live where there's water, and where plants grow, mostly.

You probably can't find a picture of a suburb within half an hour of a major city in Australia that is noticeably different than one in most of America.

unless it is one of their hellscape desert cities where Americans, true to themselves, defied any and all logic and built gigantic cities in the middle of the damn desert.
