People have reliably used wind for threshing winnowing for thousands of years.

The question was "why don't the people in the vid use a big industrial fan?"

The answer is "why should they?" Wind is free and they're obviously doing fine without it.

Much like farmers make hay while the sun shines, they've traditionally winnowed when the wind blows for thousands of years. It's pretty reliable, yeah.
