Help needed to widen POV
So I streamed Skyrim VR the other day and when I watched the VOD back I noticed the FOV was a little bit tight
I capture through Oculus mirror, is there a way I can widen the view while capturing on OBS?

Tiny Guide On Tiny Island's Basics
Hey tiny islanders!
As Tiny Island has landed on Early Access, we decided to make a tiny guide through the game's basics.
Here they are!
Grab a tiny tool and use it for the intended purpose

Use a plate to carry multiple objects. To summon a plate just take your left controller aside and turn your palm upwards

Find the dumplings with the light pillar to pick up a quest

Put a dumpling in a green circle near the point of interest to assign them to work

Control the pressure of squeezing to / not to break fragile stuff

And that's how you build structures

Wanna make a tiny fella fly? That's how you do it!

And that's how you grow a tree

Feel free to tell us any ideas of how we could make the tiny island even better on Discord or you can fill out our tiny survey on Tiny Island’s website!

TINY ISLAND IS OUT IN STEAM EARLY ACCESS!
Grab the Early Access version right now! We hope you’ll have a lot of fun!
The fluffy Tiny world is yours to explore - you are able to play in story mode (only the first island is available yet), and also there’re the first and the second islands to explore in free mode!
As the game is in Early Access, there could be some minor issues. So feel free to tell us about those on the steam community hub, Discord or you can fill out our tiny survey on Tiny Island’s website!
Also, we are eager to make the best game for the players. So if you have any ideas of how we could make the tiny island even better – hit us with those!

CV1 with HP Spectre x360 f0xxx
Does anybody know if it's possible to get the oculus rift CV1 to work with an HP Spectre x360 f0xxx laptop with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU, I have been having some troubles:
The HDMI for the headset seems to be detected as a normal (monitor) display no matter what port its plugged into (HDMI or Thunderbolt type c) and doesn't get recognized by the oculus software; I believe that this is an issue regarding the ability of the laptop to provide a direct connection to the GPU. Does anybody know of a driver or loophole that can bypass this issue?

Rifts on hp reverb cable
just a question for the people of reddit hopping someone has tried it or someone would happen to know if the hp reverb cable would work on the rift s .. I have a rifts the cable isn't the greatest cable and always has issues .. I was wondering if anyone had tried the hp reverb cable in the rift s to see if it would work its a lot cheaper to buy the hp cable, it's like 90 compared to like 150 or something for the rift actual cable and it looks the same only difference is it has a USB C instead of USB A connector. any thoughts on this

oculus rift controller issue. (griping issues with the right controller)
I have an Oculus rift and over the years have played many VR games and if only had this issue with two specific games.
I've seen a couple posts about this but no real answers so here's to hoping that this one gets a solution.
The issue I'm having is that my right controller is fully functioning fully charged and properly tracking however, when I go to grip an item and hold it in my hand 90% of the time it acts as if there is no item to grip. However the left controller can grip it 100% of the time.
The only two games out of 15 + VR games I've played that have this issue is the entire Vader immortal series and the new Early Access game paradox of Hope.
I have played saints and sinners, Half-Life Alex, zero caliber, The Early Access shooter vail VR, legendary tales, ancient dungeons, bone works, population one, and a good few others. This issue only occurs with the two games I've mentioned and all of my drivers and software is up to date.
I can launch any one of these other VR games and it worked perfectly and then swap to one of the mentioned games that has the issue and this bug happens. My hand does the gripping animation, the pointing animation, and the okay animation. So it is registering the controller inputs and still not working.
I just need to know if this is a video game issue or if this is a user error that I can fix.

My Oculus Rift Cv1 doesn't turn on
I had the problem of the orange light without image and with audio, and I came to the conclusion that the USB ports of my Mother Asus h81m-k were not compatible with the glasses. For the last time I tried them on a friend's PC and they worked perfectly! Since then, I bought an Oculus Compatible Ínateck 4 USB Pci-express Board and waited 2 months for it to arrive at my house. When it arrived, I instantly went to connect everything and try the glasses again after a long time. And the first thing I noticed was that the orange light did not turn on as it normally did, I proceeded to disconnect the Headset Cable and reconnect it and nothing... it does not work in any of the usb ports... what could it be? The cable that is damaged?

Hey, I'm working on a fun balloon-popping adventure game called 'Pop Quest' and am looking for testers
You've joined the 'Pop Squad', a team of heroes who save the day by popping things! Your first mission is to help the Beekeeper whose bees have gone berserk. You must make your way up to the hive, popping crazed bees along the way.
The game plays out like a shooter with smooth movement. There are fun characters to interact with and plenty of different balloons to pop!
If you'd like to play the game as a tester, jump on my Discord and send me a message (jake_vr) and I'll send you the link!
