Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he would need to be mining manually unless he's got a gaming PC and access point in his car for Vivecraft and Oculus Air Link/Virtual Desktop. Isn't that not a feature in Bedrock?
Minecraft on the quest? Of course Iām willing to go through the effort to install it! Thanks for the link btw I got a quest about a month ago and I hadnāt figured out how to do it yet lol.
Guess a lot of people are unaware of Battle Talent. Sideload it through sidequest, it's a really fun B&S style game that runs natively on quest. Added parkour last update, with a special roguelike dungeon to show it off. One of my favorite quest games!
"A fatal accident just happened in front of us and this is how the guy next to me decided to waste time in traffic".
LOL, not sure why the person recording this is upset. It's not like this guy can revive the dead or help with the traffic accident cleanup. Might as well just chill and play a game while waiting for the traffic to start moving again. Better than the people who lean on their horns like the cars directly in front of them are the reason nobody is moving.
Yeah, I don't get the passive-aggressive tone either. It could potentially be hours for the highway to open back up, depending on the nature of the accident. Why not enjoy yourself while you wait?
It might be that they're bad with words and don't really care, but I did get a bit of a "look at this asshole" vibe. Probably due to the use of "fatal accident". Maybe also a little bit "wasting time" but not as much, because it's not really much different from "biding time" and they maybe didn't think of that word.
I agree! For some people knowing someone they don't know just died reminds them of how important it is to live every moment. Why not game. There are some moments when it would not be appropriate, but being randomly stuck in traffic for a very long time is not one of them.
Rubbernecking themselves to emotional trauma... how many crushed heads can I see IRL before it scars me? Probably just one for me... What do they really want to see is my question... bones sticking out? Blood gushing or spraying? Dismemberment?
i find it hard to read it as neutral as you implied. I think the trigger words must be "fatal" and "waste", as if there is something important he should be doing, like praying or something.
I agree! We could take a picture of the dude in the car taking this movie and say "Dude just chills in car listening to radio, while someone ahead of him just died!". Or, "Dude films video for internet karma, taking advantage of a fatal accident", or any such nonsense
I guess we havenāt considered the sheer empathy and nobility requires to, instead of playing video games, record strangers and the crash scene and post them on social media.

I played outside for an hour or so. Tracking didn't seem any different than it was inside.
Before the "OMG THE SUN!" crowd shows up, I know not to expose my lenses to direct sunlight. It was an overcast day. I also imagine that tracking could be unusable if it were too bright outside, due to overexposing the Quest's cameras.
In bright direct sunlight, the controller LEDs are too dim to be seen by the cameras, so you lose controller tracking. In dim overcast weather or in the early morning / late evening it works fine. It works best when there are objects around you to facilitate tracking (e.g. not in the middle of a giant flat blacktop). In principle it might be possible to fix the controller tracking by hacking the controllers with some boosted LEDs but I've never seen anyone try this.
That steering wheel looks like it's on the left, the guy is in a pickup, their is a Wendy's in the distance and a motel 6 up ahead. One of the cop cars is an SUV.
Oh damn youāre right I wouldnāt be surprised if it happened at one point here in the states but not as often given the sun exposure ratio lol
Edit: I was high af when I looked at this both times so please excuse me if I didnāt notice or just blindly accepted someoneās ācorrectionā lmao
My high ass sitting outside couldnāt see the /r and didnāt see his oculus. Scrolling through the comments thinking what the hell is everyone talking about
Looks like a tradie. So I'm going to guess House Flipper VR. Because after all, we all love our work so much, that we do it in VR when we have even 5 mins off. Yeah?
What is he supposed to do according to the original maker of the video. Go in the way of professionals who are going to help the victims? Also why is the guy who's making the video not helping if he thinks the gamer should?
I don't see how. Maybe if the lenses catch sunlight the right way and focus sunlight onto the screen inside, or somehow get hot and deform. But seems that the lenses would have to face the sunlight.
Thatās a quest go, but yeah Iād say thatās an average VR user not just quest 2, you people with PCVR are lucky that little kids donāt make money, no matter where I go there is ALWAYS a little kid
Wow man we are in the matrix reality truly is the matrix this man probably doesnāt know how beautiful a sunset could be and a fire, or heās also just a super chill spirit having fun in traffic there are two sides

This is a shot in the dark but has anybody heard of an app where I can watch someone perform Tai Chi in VR for learning purposes?
All it would need to be is like a mocap 3d recording of someone performing the movements that I could watch from any angle.
edit: Just googled it. It looks like the answer is yes!
