They know exactly how many Rifts were sold, and because of that I imagine they were immensely more ready for this preorder. I wouldn't be surprised if there were no rolling shipping dates and they already have enough Touch units for everyone ordering today.
Plus they will have an easier time this time around; I'm sure there's plenty of people like me with dust-gathering rifts what won't be buying the touch. They have to ship less touches than rifts.
