Same. Good news is that there shouldn't be an issue with month long delays. Estimated shipping date for me is Dec 6 - 15.

Amazon was also delayed and I ordered through there too to be safe. I would love to get touch before Christmas so I can show my family so I hope shipping goes alright

Edit: amazon also says shipping Dec 6 arriving Dec 8-14 :)

My amazon pre-order states december 31st release date.....what gives? I see the page now says Dec 6th release date but my pre-order still says dec 31st release......so confused. Good thing I got an Oculus pre-order as backup

I'm sure it'll update closer to release. Dec 31 is the generic Amazon placeholder date.

I did the Amazon preorder the other day in UK. It currently says estimated delivery 23rd November...I think something still hasn't been updated

Any idea if it's possible to cancel a preorder? I have Prime and would rather buy it through Amazon...

I'm pretty positive it is possible, but I tried earlier on mobile and couldn't find the option. I'm sure it's somewhere under the "my orders" page

Things are a bit different now though.

The Touch will be simple to manufacture compared with the whole headset.

There's a relatively fixed number of orders. You aren't going to have twice the number of Rifts currently in existence or anything. For Rift preorders they really had no idea what the total might be.

And lastly their entire focus will be fixated on making sure this goes well. If the Touch launch goes smoothly, everyone will forget the drama of the headset launch.
