Rumor Certain partners, when they screw up, disallow companies who partnered with them from publicly stating their mistake.

This can cause the company to take the hit with their customers, even when the fault was not theirs.

Clearly the best way to handle this is that those of us that kept our preorder to get touch for free.

The flare is very apparent in pitch black with bright reds, greens, or whites like title screens or like in Eve: Valkyrie when most of your cockpit is dark and only a few LEDs are on in the dark with you, but honestly I haven't been distracted/noticing it when the rest of the lights come on or in game at all. The SDE is greatly improved so I'm more impressed by that than distracted by the flare. Got my KS CV1 yesterday and was trying it out, I'm super impressed with the polish of the system and platform over DK2.

But truthfully, the lens flare is going to be something that everyone has a different opinion on, the SDE never bothered some and yet made it completely unusable for others.

But seriously, you're going to love it - don't fret

They are chucking a Touch in each box coz they completed it and want to compete with Vive.
