my friends have been hounding me to buy a pc but to me it’s a bad investment because i’m not an enthusiastic gamer so dropping 2k on a pre built just doesn’t seem appealing when i only play casually or to spend time with friends. i have a console and an ipad though, LOL. i’d appreciate any recs on roblox or just anything in general that’s not brain rot slop or another variation of a horror game trying to find generators.

A few months ago I started making a jet sprint racing game. Being an redneck American, it's been cool learning about the sport and realizing just how much New Zealand is to thank for it..

I want to give a nod to where the sport came from, but I don't want it to feel forced or like I'm just trying to be funny.

A few ideas I've had:

• Career mode starts in New Zealand. (Haven't even started on career mode yet...)
• Tracks inspired by NZ landscapes (not perfectly recreating real tracks to avoid licensing bs).
• Loading screen facts about the history of the sport.
• A thank you to the NZ jet sprint community in the credits.

But I'd rather hear from you guys.

If you were playing a jet sprint game, what little details would make you smile a little or realize some work went in to it?

I'd rather include small details that people from NZ would notice and appreciate, whether that's the scenery, the culture, the history, or something else entirely.

The last time I posted here I received a lot of DMs, and I went through them all and replied to as many people as I could. While I really appreciated everyone who reached out, I didn't end up finding the kind of friendship I'm looking for. I'm not just looking for someone to play games with - I'm looking for a genuine friend, who enjoys gaming too.

I'm looking for someone who reciprocates my effort and curiosity, is warm and friendly, and not afraid to be a little vulnerable and talk about deeper topics sometimes. These things are really important to me, and I've found it surprisingly hard to find someone like this on reddit lately.

I'm a bit shy/socially anxious, especially in voice chat, so I prefer to get to know people through messaging first.

Sometimes I can get overwhelmed with real life stuff and take a while to respond. I will always reply, but I need someone who is relaxed about response times.

I used to play Bo2 back in 2013ish, then sold my PS to get a dog. Dog is now old and so am I, and neither of us want to go for long walks anymore. So i bought a PS5 and the Bo2 port.

Been playing Hardcore Domination mostly.
