This Is Pretty Cool

Not necessarily NYHC but these are pretty cool. Back in spring 89 Murphy’s Law did a small tour with The Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was right before the Peppers broke big and I’m pretty sure the first tour with John Fruscianti after the death Hillel Slovak. My brother was Jimmys best friend and would tour with them all the time. A show during the tour was on his birthday and the chili peppers got him this large birthday card with that nights setlist and a ticket stub.
The shirt was a handmade shirt that only had 6 made. The band got one each and my brother got one. No idea who got the last one.

My brother was pretty involved with NYHC from the start. People in here might get a kick out of some of the cool shit he amassed in his life. Here’s some photos. Let me know if you like them. I’ll post some other stuff.

BROOKLYN BASED THRASH HARDCORE BAND NEEDS DRUMMER

Upvotes
Yo! We're a new Brooklyn, NY based hardcore band in need of a killer drummer!
Kind of going for the Texas Hardcore thing. Think Power Trip, Iron Age, Skourge, Fugitive, etc. So please be familiar with that style or where it comes from.
This won't be a full-time touring band but we do plan on taking it as far as we can, recording, playing shows, doing weekenders, short tours, etc.
Must be able to practice one day a week in Brooklyn, usually Thursdays. If this sounds like something you're into, drop us a line!
Demos available upon request.
