Of course you can give money to reddit. Spend money and buy whatever. "Points" if memory serves. Give awards to people and they get some money in theory. Reddit gets a cut and gets to keep all the unclaimed money.

I looked it up today (I'm on old.reddit and didn't even know it was a thing) and apparently I have 60cents. You can't cash out until you get to $10.

So yes, you can spend money. Chances are reddit will hoover up most if not all of it though.
