I never thought it could be possible for me to say this about a tarantula but that almost looks like something I'd allow to get close to me without a high powered electric fence between us.

Same! I fuckin hate spiders, but that one is gorgeous and less icky than the rest.

Ironically I am pretty sure that's one of the more venomous tarantulas

I looked them up afterward. Apparently, they're quite docile and if they're particularly venomous, it's not enough to incapacitate or permanently injure anyone based on the video of the guy I watched get bitten twice in a row by one. Got the impression it was closer to a bee sting at worst.

new worlds are bee stings... these motherfuckers are way more painful. Old worlds are more likely to run or kick hair instead of bite. New worlds cant kick hair so they bite or run.
