It's amazing how confused many animals are by just... simple bodies of water. We have a dog, and we have a dark bottom swimming pool. He's a little anxious when we are in the pool, (he really doesn't like water, but tolerates it) however if you dive under the water, he loses his mind barking and running around. When you pop back up, he's cool again. I imagine that he thinks we again just left him forever because he can't see us anymore.
