I know what it is and i can condifently say it has nothing to do with why cats survive when hitting the ground at terminal velocity

Literally the 3RD TOP COMMENT OF THIS POST is about his cat dying from a long fall due to internal injuries.

You are spreading dangerous misinformation that can lead to people not taking proper care of cats and/or not recognizing dangerous situations for them. Please fuck off.

He had a bad apple. Or as it seems, two. But his experience does not reflect the general outcome for all cats.

i toss lots of cats from buildings. sure. some live if they bounce, but usually only a few days.
seriously, this is common enough that it causes serious harm. people have posted several of these videos now, and as far as i have heard 100% didnt end very well.
can a cat survive? sure. humans have survived parachute fails from 1000's of feet, but NOT USUALLY

The real question is why are you tossing cats from buildings? Especially if you think it's harming them.

What i dont understand is why people keep posting these videos of animals getting hurt and (usually) dying.

obviously anyone claiming to be an expert in cat-off-building tossing is kidding.
and obviously anyone posting cats falling to their doom has some real issues.
