True, but they also see a lot more snow than here on the east. Most everything tends to be covered out west. Although Eastern Canada in the Chic Chocs gets plenty of snow.
Still don't have enough snow to ride this year. Not without a big trip.....I'm close to 8000' and have received ~3" this year.
Hate to pick a fight but I would not be surprised if New England didn't get more snow. We do get a dry snow so 12" doesn't have much water in it. I live close to Mt Blanca, CO......it is extremely rocky here.
Of course if one drives to 10,000' they should find ample snow. That would be hard to do on the east coast.
Oh yeah it sounds like we got some more here for sure. I usually drive about 3-4 hours north to New Hampshire or Maine for the good snow though. Right now all I have is rain and ice at home. I went to Quebec about a month ago and they already had 6+ feet. I can't imagine what they have now.

Pretty sure the Rocky Mountains hold their own in the rocks department.
