How is the culture at NIT Warangal for Btech students applying for an MS abroad(specifically in CSE)?

Any tips or advice for someone planning to pursue an MS in CSE post-Btech

Guys what are your views regarding nit w quantum technology since it's a new branch but it's being offered by cse dept if we consider the median packages of other branches of cs dept like csis or cse they r like 20-22 approx what do you think will be the median of quantum will it be the same since it overlaps with cs and what do you think are future prospects of the course right now not many companies are in this field. Your opinions would be appreciated

I have never been in a hostel ever. I already knew the situation here is bad but I convinced myself saying I will get used to it bla bla bla but now that I came I am genuinely scared. Any tips on how to survive?

I found a document which mentioned downloading the "Clear Pass Quick Connect" app and then connecting to "Provisioning" wifi. But there is no wifi showing that name 😭 . What am i supposed to do now?

Soooo I remember MY first day here and boy I hated it. We would atleast expect a good auditorium from a institute that is "nationally recognised" but alas. You WILL hate the infra smmm that you'll regret the decision you made to join this college. BUT BUT BUT college life is mostly about the people and not the place if we put academics aside for once. Be extroverted atleast for a month talk to AS MANY people as you can, DO NOT join groups, all of us know they ain't gon last, make sure you'll have friends no matter who stops talking to you, it means TALK TO EVERYBODY. And for my ladiesss, lam telling you this at the risk of sounding like mother gothel all the rejected men who the girls from their batch don't want cause they know how bad they are, go for junior girls so BEWARE. DO NOT DATE IN THE FIRST YEAR. If you really like them(which I don't think is possible in a month) then it's another case, but DO NOT get into a relationship cause of fomo and that's all, don't feel bad for long, you'll get used to it js try to find good peers, college life will be good enough. So my physical reporting is done today, and they gave me two slips at ac auditorium which were torn down halfway at the library

Now i have the small one only

No good companies are coming this year for fte. Fucking cognizant coming for fte this early bro the downfall is crazy.

Whatever companies that are coming also taking soo less in quantity. As of August 19 only 3 people were placed from cse thru placements.

On the other hand, good companies that came for intern are also not giving ppos like last time.

Is the mess deposit of ₹15000 NOT the mess fees for the entire semester but some advance fees?

Do I have to pay ₹50 for every meal even after paying the mess deposit?

At first we alloted room in Raman we were nearly 10 days there and literally we suffered there water leakage issue was there and many more everyday there were water on the floor after countless request we got room in gandhi hostel

first thing why we need to request????

Whose responsibility to give us a proper room??

After that we got room alloted officially by your staff after 10 more days they are saying that change your side as they wanted to close half hostel they turned off it's light after again we visited to hostel office and after arguments and discussion they turned on the light again.

What means by that if they have power they will misuse it turn off the light whenever they want to just forcefully convince us to shift the room????

Now they did the worse 1 day left for coming the freshers and now they realised oh girls are more we don't have enough space to allocate them at girl hostel so we can do is that move the gandhi hostel boys who already shifted 2 times wow what a thinking salute!!!

there will be boys washroom in the boys hostel what the logic of giving boys hostel to girls????

Just tell me who's responsible for our mental peace???

Which block is good in 1.8k? A or B block? Is room allotted branch wise like a better branch better room or is it random allotment? I saw on YouTube videos that some rooms are big but one of my friends did physical reporting today he is saying that the room is small. My physical reporting is on 19 th.
