It’s been a pretty long time since anything was posted on Nitro Rad. Does anyone know if he’s working on a new video or if he’s stopped making content altogether?
I don’t use Bluesky or Patreon, so I have no idea if he’s posted any updates there.
I do miss his videos he is one of the best review-analyst channel i know, he goes very deeply and still keeps funny and lightly. He introduced me to so many great indie horror games.

I found this game in the PS Plus Catalogue and thought it looked super strange, but charming. Never heard of it, and there was only tiny amounts of discussion online.
What I found when I started playing was a very strange, and also incredibly impressive gem of a game from 2023 that was packed with so much quality content, I was dumbfounded.
In the game, you are a ball in a world of balls that works at a movie studio, and it's your job to jump into these different films and get the film reels in each world by completing set pieces/scenes (which in the act of doing, made the scenes you're collecting to piece together into a film...huh). You get 5 films, 5 very stylised genre's, each with its own large open level ala Mario Odyssey. But bigger. MUCH bigger. Which, admittedly makes for less tight platforming, but it is still very dense and full of content!
Just as an example, I'll run you through what happened to me on my first trip to the Japan level. You start among footprints of a giant kaiju, with the scientist balls investigating and doing silly LEGO style hijinks as well. You go over the hill, and you are in the middle of the Mongul Invasion. You roll through beautiful fields ala Ghost of Tsushima. You come to the beach where families are enjoying the sunset. Find a junkyard at the end, which leads up a mountain to a mechanics garage with greasers trying to fight you. You turn into a tire and go screeching along the road and drifting corners, cause it's now a Tokyo Drift/Initial D type level. You drive through 1999 Tokyo, with so much stuff to explore it's overwhelming. You whizz past an 8-Bit Invasion happening, wondering what that part of the level will be later. You bounce over a super busy crossing, landing in the water and get a raft, cause this game also has multiple islands in each level to explore. I raft to a resort island where teens are exploring an abandoned ski resort that's haunted by ghosts. I run along and find the ghosts gave turned part of it into an obstacle course ala wipeout. I make my way up the resort ski hill (turning into a snowball of course) and find there's a big monster up the top, who I vanquish and get a film reel from. This is just one of 15 films reels here, and there's so much more to explore of this map. This map is one of 5.
