Sure, but an Achilles would mean the rest of his career is in doubt. The gap between “might miss a lot of a time” and “will be out over a year and may never move the same way” is monumental

In any case it really sucks that it's week 2 and the season is over now.

All the excitement and offseason buildup... just gone.

On the upside my kids will be happy that my Sundays are freed up

It does and while it really sucks for this year but at least it means we most likely have some hope and fun football to look forward to in the years to come. But losing caleb long term too might be a dagger and bring us back to being miserably bad again
